The Australian car company Uber has more than 20 million Australian drivers, and it’s the biggest and most valuable company in the country, according to a new report.
The company’s CEO Travis Kalanick told Business Insider that the firm’s growth is driven by two things: the demand for its services and its growth in China.
“We are the biggest in the world.
But there are other countries with huge economies and huge populations.
So we’ve also grown our market share,” Kalanicks said.”
But it’s really driven by demand and growth.
And China, it’s a very large market and they have a very big population.”
It’s not just a global companyUber has grown into a global business.
The company has over 20 million drivers globally.
Its global revenues topped $20 billion in 2015.
It is the third-largest taxi and limousine company in Europe, with revenues of $11.9 billion.
“What’s been really great about this is that we’ve been able to grow from our core business, which is based in the US, into an international business and now into an even bigger global business,” Kalans said.
The growth in demand for Uber has been phenomenal.
The firm said in 2016 it had 3.8 million trips in China, which was a 30% increase on 2015.
Uber has also gained a lot of ground in the Chinese market.
It currently has around 200,000 drivers in the city of Shenzhen, which has a population of around 1.3 million.
Uber is the only major taxi company in China to have a driver on the platform.
It has launched a new app called UberX that will allow drivers to work as independent contractors.
