Well, the NRL will be playing at ANZ Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday night, and the AFL will be doing a one-off clash with Adelaide in the middle of next week.
The AFL is hoping to attract more fans to the game as it expands into more markets.
The AFL and the NRL are not the only big games coming up in the next few weeks, as the Blues are also preparing for a return to Brisbane in September.
It is understood AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan is keen to bring back the game in some capacity for the AFL, while the NRL is working on a plan to do the same with the NRL.
The NRL has said it will be back to play at the MCG in 2019, and has been negotiating a new deal with the AFL to continue play in the ground until 2022.
The game will return to the ANZ in 2019 with a new home at ANB Stadium.
