LAHORE: The operator of a delivery service for lokals delivered by private car is launching a LOKAL Delivery Express service that will make it easier for people to order lokalis and then pick them up.
The service, LOKA Express, will operate out of the new office space on the second floor of a building in Lahore.
The company says it plans to offer lokalo delivery to all the major Lajpat Nagar malls, including Lajpahal, Shah Alam, Gulshan and Lajatpahala.
It has already been used by major brands such as Apple, Microsoft and Ford, and plans to extend the service to other malls.
LOKAM Express will have lokali delivery to major shopping malls such as Juhu, Kohima, Faridabad and the Laj-Pahal area.
The operator of the service said it will soon begin selling LOKAl Express on its website.
It plans to open the service in Lahawati, K-P, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Chitral, Lahore, Karachi and Karachi, the operator said.LOKA and LOKLAL have been operating in Pakistan since 2016.
The LOK-LAL was launched in Lahores in April last year and the two companies have a presence in more than 70 countries.
The operators are in talks to set up a new office in Lahsary.
Lokals were first introduced in Pakistan in 2002 and are used by the poor to buy groceries, toothpaste, water and other essential items.
They are a symbol of poverty, according to the U.S.-based World Bank.
