Milan reject a bid from Barcelona to sign Dani Alves

AC Milan and Barcelona are in advanced talks over a transfer of Dani Alved, according to reports in the Spanish media.

According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, the Serie A club are close to signing the 23-year-old winger for a reported fee of €35 million.

The move would be the first in a series of moves between the two clubs this summer, with the likes of Luka Modric and Gonzalo Higuain all considering a move away from the La Liga giants.

However, the deal would be dependent on Alves’ future and the fact he is in demand on the continent.

The Brazilian international has scored 26 goals in 39 appearances for the La Masia giants this term, having scored 21 goals in 30 La Liga appearances.

However it is unlikely that he would leave the Rossoneri this summer for any other club, given his reputation.

It is believed that the club will try to convince the player to sign a new contract with the Rossonas first team before making any move for Alves.
